Buckeye nation agrees!
CBS Sports ranked Ohio State University the best collegiate program in 2017-2018 to win the Best In College Sports Award.
Okay yes, we didn’t win a national title (not yet) but the football and basketball program help the Buckeyes top the list. The football program finished last season 12-2, No. 5 in the AP Poll and won the Cotton Bowl and Big Ten title. In basketball, we won the Big Ten Conference in men’s and finished the season 25-7 (No. 17 in AP). The women’s program finished 28-7 (No. 10 in AP). Both reached the second round in the NCAA Tournament.
The wrestling team finished as national runner-ups, men’s volleyball reached national semifinals, men’s and women’s hockey reached the Frozen Four, and both baseball and softball reached the NCAA Tournament.
