The weather has been getting colder and when it cod outside we of course turn the thermostat all the way up. Which may send our gas bill through the roof, and who wants a higher gas bill? Nobody. I’ve done a bit of research so you don’t have to go through the winter with your heat on 80 degrees like me lol. According to 10 tv, and a consumer who sets the home thermostat at 68 degrees during the day and 58 degrees at night or when not home for several hours can save “10 to 15 percent of annual heating costs.”

Columbia Gas suggest that lowering the thermostat when you’re not home to 55 degrees will cut your gas bill 8 to 10 percent.

Of course down this, you’ll have to fall in love with sweater and socks again, so you don’t get cold feet and hands.
