Congrats to the coaches and players of the boys basketball team at Harvest Prep. The Warriors just won their first state division 3 championship, beating Lutheran East, 55-42. They have come so close in the past, so today’s win was well deserved.
According to the Columbus Dispatch, Harvest Prep left the state tournament in 2018 with a two-point loss and a bitter taste. The Warriors had been runner-ups in 2007, 2011 and 2015 before falling to Africentric 54-52 in a semifinal last year. Prep came into last year’s final four with an unbeaten record.
Way to come out on top! Congrats again and enjoy this historic moment for the school and city of Canal Winchester.
