Pro football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor has been arrested on suspicion of rape in New York, police said Thursday. The victim reportedly was a 15-year-old girl.
Taylor, 51, was arrested by Town of Ramapo police after being accused of rape in the Holidome Hotel in Montebello. According to lohud.com, the victim was underage and was beaten during the attack. Taylor was charged with third-degree rape, the web site reported.
Formal charges against Taylor will be filed upon completion of the investigation, police said.
