TMZ is reporting that Bonnie Pointer of the Pointer Sisters is the latest star to join the cast of VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab.”

The 59-year-old singer has struggled with drug abuse through much of her life. After starting her professional career with her sisters June, Anita and Ruth as the Pointer Sisters, Bonnie left the group in the 70s to launch a solo career.

She married a producer and put out a record called “Heaven Must Have Sent You.” Other stars reportedly booked for “Celebrity Rehab” include rapper Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Playboy Playmate Shauna Sand and reality show wrecks Tila Tequila and Jason Wahler.

Both Liza Minnelli and Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York have released statements denying rumors that they have also been cast.
