There’s been no word on when the new D’Angelo album will be released since summer is upon us and there’s been no confirmation. Mark Ronson’s forthcoming release, Record Collection, does feature D’Angelo, however, on a track that was tentatively titled “Glass Mountain Trust” until D’Angelo racked his brain trying to find lyrics to match the title. Hence, GQ magazine has described this song as “deeply strange soul record that’ll delight those who are still waiting for the follow-up to the singer’s album Voodoo.” Yay. No, we don’t have an mp3 we can share with you, but when we do, we’ll make sure you’re the first to hear it.
