The Jackson family is taking precautions to ensure the safety of fans and their family home in Encino, California this week.

Due to an onslaught of fans and even vendors attempting to sell items outside their home after Michael Jackson’s death last year, the family is taking no chances, enlisting help from authorities.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, there will be at least thirty officers on hand patrolling the area throughout the weekend, enforcing ‘no parking’ measures and a ban on selling merchandise. According to TMZ, over 3,000 shirts alone were confiscated last year shortly after the entertainer’s death.
