Avatar was the most pirated film of 2010. According to TorrentFreak, the James Cameron blockbuster was illegally downloaded from torrent websites 16.6 million times; 33% more than last year’s top-pirated film, Star Trek. Coming in at number two was Kick-Ass with 11.4 million downloads, followed by Inception with 9.7 million, Shutter Island with 9.5 mil and Iron Man 2 with 8.8 million.
