New parking program set to relieve the headache when parking in the Short North.
The Short North Alliance is starting a new parking program that will allow you to park in the Short North for just $1.
It is a six-month program that allows selected businesses to give their customers a parking validation that can reduce their parking ticket to $1. This will only be applied t the first hour and is also for selected garages.
According to the Short North Alliance website, the garages where validation is accepted will rotate as will the businesses offering validation. The program starts Monday, April 9 and runs till Oct. 31 with a possibility that it can be expanded if successful.
