Diana Ross reportedly threw a diva fit after she wasn’t allowed to sit at a restaurant table when she wanted recently.

The American singer arranged to meet her daughter for lunch at the La Scala eatery in Beverly Hills late last week. The restaurant never lets its patrons sit until the whole group has arrived, something Diana was seemingly unaware of.

She turned up first and after being told she couldn’t have a table yet, decided to sit at one anyway.

“I’m sorry that Miss Ross had a problem with that and she feels that the rules didn’t apply to her. Our policy is that we don’t sit incomplete parties. If people jump the line, our policy is we don’t serve them, and she was told that. We treat everyone the same whether you’re famous or not,” La Scala’s owner Gigi Leon told New York Post.

Diana was reportedly told she wouldn’t be served if she continued to block the booth, but still wouldn’t move.

Eventually Diana’s daughter did arrive, but both women ended up leaving the eatery after an alleged disagreement with staff.

Gigi added all her workers “love” having the famous singer as a customer and they hope she will return in the future. READ MORE
