This morning divers continued their search for 14 month old toddler Cameron Beckford who has been missing. Cameron’s mother Dainesha Stevens, 24, is in the Franklin County Jail. She claims that she abandoned Cameron on the porch of a stranger because she could no longer care for him.
Complaints filed in Franklin County Municipal Court, on December 22, Stevens didn’t protect her son as he was being “violently spanked repeatedly” at a home in the 5200 block of Kornwal Drive. According to reports the spankings were so severe that the child’s skin had been removed from his buttocks. It is unknown who disciplined the child.
Cameron’s body was found in Big Walnut Creek in a bag late this afternoon.
