August 22nd, 2016 London organizers held the first memorial to enslaved Africans; this is the first one in London history. August 23rd is International Day For The Remembrance of Transatlantic Slave Trade and Abolition. It seems that there isn’t much emphasis or acknowledgement of the slave trade in England and a group wants to change that. Take a look at the video!
