R&B singer/songwriter Tank is gearing up for a return to R&B with a new single and a new deal.
Announcing his return to R&B Wednesday, June 2, Tank told fans on Twitter “I need everybody to call their radio stations on June 8th and request my new single! “Sex Music” i promised n now i deliver!”
News of the single follows months of anticipation and Tank’s feature role in the film “Preacher’s Kid,’ also starring LeToya Luckett.
In addition to the single, Tank has reportedly signed on with Atlantic Records where he could release his anticipated album, said to be titled “Now or Never”.
“Atlantic Records is now in possession of R&B’s most dangerous machine!! “TANK”. Playtime is over!,” Tank confirmed recently.
Since 2001, Tank has released three studio albums including his Grammy Award nominated 2007 effort “Sex, Love & Pain”. Each of those efforts were released on Blackground Records. Tank is also credited with penning hits for Keyshia Cole, LeToya Luckett, Monica, Jamie Foxx and more.
