Prince and Erykah Badu will be doing a benefit concert together entitled The Event. Its all to raise money for the Goss Michael Foundation.
Erykah will open up for Prince at the event. With guest Dj’s, food, open bar, entertainment, and additional performances. The Event should raise a lot of money just in the Prince performance itself. Joyce Goss executive director of the Goss-Michael Foundation stated.
“One of The Goss-Michael Foundation’s missions has been to encourage the talents of young artists, both visual and performing, through our statewide high school scholarship programs”. “With the funds raised at this one-of-a-kind event, students will be able to reach for their dreams. Prince is an artist that hundreds of millions of people around the world admire. Our scholarship winners and all of us are honored that Prince has selected The Goss-Michael-Foundation as the beneficiary.”
The event was conceived to help youth get scholarship programs. A single ticket to The Event is $1500 which includes the admission open bar and food stations. The event will begin at 8 p.m. on Feb. 4. Tickets are on sale now at www.PrinceDallas.com.
