Shellie Zimmerman, wife of George Zimmerman, who killed Trayvon Martin, was arrested Tuesday on one count of perjury, the Seminole County, Fla., Sheriff’s Department said.
Florida State Attorney Angela Corey informed deputies that a warrant had been issued for her arrest.
Shellie was arrested at approximately 3:30 p.m. EST and was booked into John E. Polk Correctional Facility and was later released on bond.
