Marvin Gaye’s hometown of Washington D.C. will pay tribute to the Soul icon in June.  As a part of Black Music Month there will be a concert at Lincoln Theatre on June 14th. The concert will feature performances from Marvin Gaye tribute band “Soul On Point” led by Gaye’s former music director Gordon Banks. Other music artists that will take part include: The Sounds of DC, Mama Morgan, The Jewels and The Marquees.  The legendary Funk Brothers will cap off the evening with a special performance led by Jack Ashford.
