Scammers just don’t give up, do they? Here’s the latest scam to be on the look out for, it’s actually one of the biggest scams of 2014: people are calling to say that you’re behind on taxes and threatening arrest if you don’t pay right away. According to ABC 6/ Fox 28, the phone scam has now taken consumers for more than 5 million dollars. Now, the IRS is even issuing a warning.
Make sure to be aware of anything that doesn’t seem legit, if you feel that it’s not, it probably isn’t. Make sure you report all suspicious activity to law enforcement. Be smart and safe out there.
