According to TMZ former Vh1 star Real AKA Ahmad Givens passed away Friday night at the age of 33 after a long battle with cancer. In 2013 he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and underwent surgery, but the cancer returned earlier this year and he began getting chemotherapy treatment. His health worsened when he took a fall in January and was bedridden ever since.
According to Kamal, Ahmad’s brother AKA as Chance on Friday night his brother started to have issues with his speech and eyesight while his family paid him a visit. Givens’ loves ones knew it was only a matter of time before he succumbed to the illness. Hours later Givens died. Kamal shared a touching message online about his brother where he stated:
By to my favorite guy in this whole world be in peace we love you forever bro I’ll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God’s kindom forever and ever bro words can’t describe my pain world pray for me!
You may remember Real from Vh1’s reality show Real Chance of Love that he starred in with his brother. The duo first showed up on tv vying to win the heart of Tiffany “New York” Pollard on I Love New York star Tiffany “New York” Pollard.
