Comedian/actor Alex Thomas is performing at the Arlington Improv this weekend but before he takes the stage he stopped by the Tom Joyner Morning Show to talk about his first job in the business and his interesting connection to Earth Wind & Fire.
On his admiration of Will Smith:
“I used to write for the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, that’s why I always thank Will Smith. He gave me my first job.”
On moving from from South Central LA to the west side:
“Everybody in my family was a crip or a blood. I was a cub scout.”
