A Break Through in the Freddie Gray Case! Death Ruled a Homicide!

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby gave an update in the Freddie Gray case this morning stating that “We have probable cause to file criminal charges.” Six police officers have been charged in the death and it has been ruled a homicide.

According to the Huffington Post Mosby also stated that, “no crime had been committed by Mr. Gray.” Gray was arrested for possessing a switchblade, but Mosby said Friday the knife in Gray’s possession was not a switchblade and was lawful.

On April 12, 2015, Gray was apprehended by police at 8:40 a.m. According to a Baltimore Police timeline, at 8:54 a.m. Gray was put in additional restrains inside the van. And at 9:24 a.m., an ambulance was called to the Western District police station to take him to the hospital. Yesterday a prisnor who rhode in the van with Gray said that he was trying to inflict injuries to himself during the transport to jail. It was also reviled that the police van made stops on the way to booking Gray. Police made the discovery from private camera footage.
