*Former “The Young & The Restless” star Victoria Rowell is reportedly looking to make a return appearance on the soap, despite her repeated allegations through the years that its producers and some of the stars are racist.

Rowell, who played Drucilla Winters for 14 seasons, says she left the CBS drama in 2007 because of discrimination. According to TMZ, she has alleged in the past that co-star Melody Thomas Scott mocked her Afro-style wig, that Michelle Stafford spat on her and called her a “freak,” and that Peter Bergman physically threatened her and told her she was mentally unstable.

Per TMZ:

She says she wanted a writing/producer position, but says it wasn’t in the cards, because up until 2010, no black writer worked on the show in its 37-year history.

What’s interesting … producers haven’t killed Rowell’s character off … they’ve actually been using stock footage to tease the audience with the possibility of her return.
