Thank you! These roads could use some work done on them. According to Fox 28, the Department of Transportation announced it will provide $1 million in emergency relief to repair the I-70/I-270 interchange on the city’s west side, that was damaged in a tanker fire last week.
The release of funds was the result of a tanker carrying 8,000 gallons of ethanol illegally through the city limits before it rolled over and caused a massive fire on July 1.
The announcement comes after ODOT revealed a traffic pattern change that will alter the route for those looking to use the interchange from I-70 westbound to I-270 south.
