Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah are the two newest celebrities to join the cast of The Wiz Live! The Wiz Live will air on NBC live December 3rd much like other live musicals in the past such as Peter Pan.
Blige will play the Wicked Witch of the West, aka Evillene and Latifah will play the powerful Wiz. They both join Stephanie Mills, who played Dorothy in first Broadway production of the tale, will play Auntie Em in the live television version.
