As we all know, this past weekend the brand new Ghostbusters movie premiered starring an all female cast. With actresses like Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Leslie Jones, many expected the movie to be a smash but the rain on the parade had to come sooner than later right?
Milo Yiannopoulos, a well known journalist of Breitbart.com was permanently banned from the website after making offensive comments to Jones and encouraging them to taunt her as well. Twitter went on to explain that they would do better to protect its users and look over their policies. Jones received a large amount of tweets with racist and sexually explicit tweets. Jones hasn’t tweeted since July 19th stating,
” I leave Twitter tonight with tears and a very sad heart. All this cause I did a movie. You can hate the movie but the s*%! I got today….wrong”
