You can call him Brother Houston now.

Marques Houston, best known from his days in the R&B group Immature/IMx, his subsequent solo career and acting stint on “Sister Sister,” has been laying low for the past several years while becoming an active Jehovah’s Witness.

The 34-year-old recently began sharing pictures of himself going door to door”

He captioned one photo: “Out in Service Day 3. #covisitweek #WhoReallyControlsTheWorld #JW I love being out in Service doing Jehovah’s work. #JesusWentDoorToDoor that’s why we do it.”

Calling himself “Brother Houston,” he mentioned his former life “in the world” in the caption of a Throwback Thursday pic: “#Throwbackchallenge #TBT to when I was in the world with all my facial hair. It is amazing how Jehovah not only transforms u from the outside but most importantly the inside #ILOVEJEHOVAH #jw Thank you for rescuing me out of the world should to my boy @curlllyyyfor the #ThrowBackChallenge.”

Despite putting in work for JW, Houston has not given up his past entirely:
