Officer Jeronimo Yanez is headed to court on Friday after being charged with manslaughter and two felony counts of dangerous discharge of a fire arm in Minnesota. “Based upon our thorough and exhaustive review of the facts of the case it is my conclusion that the use of deadly force … was not justified,” Ramsey County Attorney John Choi said in announcing the charges. Yanez can face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
