The Boys & Girls Clubs has announced they will be hosting a teen-led discussion with Columbus Police Department.
The event is the first of its kind and will join 30 youth, 30 law enforcement officials, and 10 Boys & Girls Club staff members to discuss challenges that youth face in the community.
The event will give the teens a platform to have an honest discussion with law enforcement about the state of their communities, their views of the law and what ways they can contribute to a positive community. Along with that, the CPD will be wanting to build a bridge to the community.
The event will take place at the Milo-Grogan Boys & Girls Club at 1012 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on this Tuesday, March 7th.
