Talk show host Jerry Springer has decided not to run for Ohio governor in 2018.
Springer tells WLWT-TV that he wasn’t ready for a 5-year campaign and serving commitment.
The 73-year-old known for his racy TV show, “The Jerry Springer Show,” was Cincinnati’s mayor back in the 1970’s. He ran for governor as a Democrat back in 1982 and lost.
Earlier this month, Springer talked about his views on President Donald Trump and current Ohio governor John Kasich.
