Congratulations to the Africentric Lady Nubians on winning the 2018 OHSAA Division III Girls State Basketball Championship Saturday with a 53-47 victory over Versailles at The Value City Arena.
The victory was Africentric’s sixth state title since 2007. Sophomore guard Alexia Smith led the Lady Nubians with 22 points while Jordan Horston recorded 13 points and eight rebounds.
