Oh Wow! There are some shocking reports out now that claim Whitney Houston was sexually abused by a close family member. There is a new documentary directed by Kevin MacDonald titled, “Whitney” that will be in theaters July 6th. The doc claims that Whitney was sexually abused by her cousin Dee Dee Warwick, who is the sister of her cousin Dionne Warwick.

Dee Dee died back in 2008, and the allegations were brought to light in the doc by Whitney’s half brother, Gary Garland. Gary told the director that he had been sexually abused as a child by his cousin Dee Dee and Whitney had as well. Kevin said, “He’s saying ‘I was abused by this person’ and told me, ‘I think she abused Whitney.’ Pat Houston [Gary’s wife], who’s here, told me that, yeah, Whitney had told her this but not given any details.”

Whitney’s aunt, Mary Jones, confirmed the allegations, and so did another family member, who refused to talk on record. Kevin said he reached out to Bobby Brown as well to see if he had knowledge, saying, “He claims not to know. I wouldn’t be surprised if [Houston] didn’t tell him. When you hear Mary Jones talking about it at the end, the shame that Whitney had about it, the fact that she couldn’t take to her own mother about it… I can’t imagine she would have gone there, but this is all supposition.”
