CBUS 411 Report: New Bill Can Lead To $100 Fine For Text And Driving
Put the phones down or else!
Governor John Kasich signed a new bill that will make you think twice before you pick up your phone while driving.
The bill which is sponsored by State Representatives Jim Hughes (R-Upper Arlington) and Bill Seitz (R-Cincinnati) makes distracting driving a second offense that can lead to a $100 fine.
Distracting driving under the bill included texting, reading, using a phone, tablet and even applying makeup.
