Police Believe That Kroger Murders In Kentucky Were Hate Crimes

 

After two black people were randomly shot and killed by  a white man at a  Kentucky Kroger, Officials are saying it was a hate crime.

Gregory Alan Bush opened fire at a Kroger supermarket in the Louisville, Kentucky and killed two black people on Wednesday. The victims were 69-year-old Maurice Stallard and Vickie Lee Jones, 67.

Police Chief Seth Rogers spoke to congregation at First Baptist Church and said that while some people don’t want to acknowledge “the elephant in the room,” the fact that the shooting was motivated by racism needed to be addressed as a part of the larger dialogue.
