After the singer’s case was taken to trial by grand jury, Robert Sylvester Kelly has been charged with 10 separate counts of aggravated sexual abuse.
Earlier this week, attorney Michael Avenatti discovered and surrendered a supposed sex tape to Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, IL. The video allegedly depicts R Kelly appearing to engage in sexual acts with an underage girl.
The families of the young girls that were sexually assaulted by R Kelly are “preparing to participate in the criminal case in court” reports Gary Trock, of The Blast.
R Kelly has had a history of questionable relationships and activity with minors, including a wedding certificate between him and R&B singer Aaliyah – when she was just 15 years old.
