If you’re looking to have some fun this holiday weekend, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is holding a two-day event for families to partake in just ahead of Easter Sunday entitled ‘Eggs, Paws and Claws’!
This Friday and Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm, guests can start their journey by taking pictures with the Easter Bunny at the Conservation Lake. In the Conservation Courtyard, there will be meet and greets with cool characters for the kids. Characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Angry Birds, the Energizer Bunny and Peter Cottontail will be available.
What would a visit to the zoo be without the animals, right? The animals will also get to partake in the festivities. In an egg hunt for the animals, the zoo’s residents will be able to interact with colored eggs or something equally as tasty for them.
Kids and families will have their own turn to hunt for eggs in an “Egg-Splore-N-Fund” event around the zoo’s different regions.
