Ginuwine is embracing the changing times, granting fans a closer look into his life on the forthcoming album, “Elgin”. “I’ve been out for like 15 years now and thought … let the fans in on your personal life,” Ginuwine says of the new album, his seventh and first bearing his legal name, Elgin.
Claiming to have been influenced by technology and the way we communicate now via social media, Ginuwine says “you have to change with the times.” “Because we have so many websites and it’s just so many things out now that follow people… twitter, myspace and all that… so you have to change with the times,” he says. “I felt like this would be the great time to do that.”
Slated for release later this year, “Elgin,” follows Ginuwine’s 2009 effort ‘A Man’s Thoughts’ and the hit single “Last Chance”.
