Deion, who is 57, underwent a procedure to remove his bladder after doctors discovered a tumor. Thankfully, the surgery was successful. Doctors used a portion of his small intestine to create a new bladder, reducing the risk of rejection, and Sanders has since confirmed there were no traces of cancer. He plans to return to coaching this season and emphasized the importance of regular health checkups.
