Former Ohio State offensive lineman Jason Winrow died suddenly at his home late Sunday night September 23rd, a Winrow was 41.

Jason Winrow was a Buckeye offensive standout  in the early 1990s.  He was originally from New Jersey. Winrow went on to start three years for the Buckeyes and spent a couple of seasons in the NFL with the New York Giants. He had returned to the Columbus area, taking residence in Westerville, in recent years while working in private business.

A family spokesman said that Winrow, who had undergone major surgical procedures on both feet in recent months, will undergo an autopsy to find the cause of death. Plans also are in the works for a memorial service, and details are to be announced later. He leaves behind a wife and three kids.
