Outgoing Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee said this morning that he will continue fundraising for the school and working with students. During a news conference at the Ohio Union on campus, OSU Board President Robert H. Schottenstein said Gee, who has a law degree, might teach in the Moritz College of Law.

Ohio State President E. Gordon Gee said late yesterday that he isn’t retiring on July 1 because of his jokes about “those damn Catholics” at Notre Dame and jabs at other schools. But he couldn’t resist making another zinger during a conference call with reporters when he explained that he’s “quirky as hell” and just can’t help telling a good joke when the opportunity presents itself.
