The R&B world got excited last summer when El DeBarge made a stellar comeback with a show-stopping performance at the BET Awards and the release of his album Second Chance. Then, tragically, El relapsed into drug abuse and voluntarily returned to rehab last February. Well, now El is ready to jump-start his comeback. He’s booked for a show on the main stage at the Essence Music Festival next weekend in New Orleans!
