First the sports world was shocked that Peyton Manning chose the Denver Broncos as his next team, people were even more shocked to hear that Tim Tebow, who took the Broncos from a 1-4 start to making the playoffs, was going to get traded to the New York Jets.
The deal for Tebow to join the Jets was so far along that even the Jets shared the information on their Twitter feed with 338,227 followers (the post is still on their feed as of now)
But after taking a closer look at the contract, the Broncos are requiring any team acquiring Tebow has to kick back more than $5 million to the Broncos in advanced salaries from the 2012, 2013 and 2014 seasons,according to an NFL source. That makes the total over 6 Million dollars!
