The Roots, Talib Kweli, the Blind Boys of Alabama and more will pay tribute to the songs of Prince at a March 7th benefit show at Carnegie Hall in New York. The concert marks the ninth year that Michael Dorf, owner of City Winery, has pulled the benefit together to raise money for arts education programs. This year, they include the Church Street School of Music, Young Audiences New York, Music Unites, the Pinwheel Project, American Symphony Orchestra’s Music Notes, Little Kids Rock and the Center for Arts Education.
