Dear Santa Joyner:

I don’t think anyone wants to start thinking about Christmas in September, but the truth is the holiday will be upon us before we know it and if I wait too long to request this Christmas wish— it could be too late.   Tuskegee University under the university police department for which I work.

Last year, we were blessed to assist 37 children within 17 families by sharing the spirit of giving and love.  It became very difficult to raise the funds we needed, because we waited late in the season and people had given to other causes.    Well, to avoid that the Tuskegee University Police Department, (TUPD) is getting ready to start our 15th annual Christmas drive early, so we can spread the joy to more people.

I would be truly grateful if you could assist TUPD with a Christmas Wish donation to provide each family with boxes of toys, food and clothing, as if Santa really came.   It is a wonderful feeling seeing the children’s faces as they ask— “mommy…is that all for me?”

Thank You,

Diane Hodges, Tuskegee University Police Department
