Starting October 1, 2013, Americans who will need or want health insurance will be able to visit www.healthcare.gov. While at the Health Insurance Marketplace potential participants will be able to compare health plans based on their needs, and then sign-up for quality, affordable health coverage.
Thus far, under the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare about 3.1 million young adults gained coverage through their parents’ health plans, about 6.3 million seniors are paying less for presciption drugs, and more than 100 million Americans have received free preventive care as mammograms and cancer screenings.
