There were flurries coming down, and snow was covering the ground, but those who jumped into Ohio State’s Mirror Lake late last night said the water was just fine.
“I want to know who turned Mirror Lake into a hot tub,” screamed CJ Reckner, an Ohio State freshman.
“It’s awesome. We’re rebels!”
Reckner was one of a few thousand Ohio State students and fans who stormed a university-erected fence around the lake to hold their own Mirror Lake jump — a plan cooked up on social media in defiance of the university’s attempt to control the annual ritual. READ MORE
