According to Fox 28, authorities are blaming spinout and crashes on snow that quickly accumulated on streets and highways throughout Central Ohio.
Several spinout blocked lanes on I-70 westbound near Bexley Saturday morning.
Columbus Police said four people were rushed to area hospitals after a crash near that same curve around 2:20 a.m.
Officers said two SUVs crashed. When one of the drivers left his vehicle to inspect the damage, a sedan slammed into one of the damaged vehicles, then hit the man.
Authorities are urging people to stay in their vehicles if they spin out or crash on a highway where traffic is still passing by.
