“Basketball Wives: LA” may be getting two not-so-new cast members whenever it returns to VH1.
It’s been a while since “Basketball Wives: LA” aired. So long, in fact, that many wondered if it had quietly been canceled like the Miami edition of “Basketball Wives.”
Well, not only is “BBWLA” still a thing that’s in production, producers hoping to merge the casts to fill up a few vacancies on their show. Neither Draya Michele nor Sundy Carter will be back for the next round, so VH1 needed to bolster the team a bit.
According to Reality Tea, both Tami Roman and franchise creator Shaunie O’Neal have been tapped to join the cast!
They won’t be central members of the cast, but they will appear in a supporting roles as friends. Tami has already been spotted filming with series vets Malaysia Pargo and Jackie Christie. She’s also appeared alongside cast newbies Angel Brinks, Patrice Curry and Meghan James.
Shaunie hasn’t been seen filming yet, but we don’t expect that she’ll be as visible as Tami since she’s also a producer for the show.
