No Soft-Serve; Ice Cream Shop Worker Punches Would-Be Robber

According to Fox 28, a teen working at a Baskin-Robbins in Washington state fought off a robber — literally.

Surveillance video taken during the late-night hours shows Rachael Bishop throwing punches at the man who reached across the counter and kept grabbing for money in the cash register.

Bishop says she knew she had to fight back.

“He reached for the money like twice, and then I swatted his hand; and then he reached for it again, and I started punching him, and he punched me back; and, that’s when he took most of the money and ran out.”

The robber managed to get away with $280, authorities said. By-standers helped track down the man, after which police arrested him.
