Nicki Minaj performed in Angola this weekend and loved every minute of it.

The lady lyricist brought up a whole crop on concerns when she agreed to do a show in Angola for a company called Unitel, which is partially owned by the countryโ€™s dictator Josรฉ Eduardo dos Santos. His government has had a long history of committing human rights violations, and many thought it was a bad idea for Nicki to perform there.

Despite a call from The Human Rights Foundation for her to cancel the appearance, Nicki did the show last night anyway.

Nicki didnโ€™t seem too bothered about the controversy her performance stirred up, though. Instead, she just reveled in all of the excitement from fans that turned up for the show.

The โ€œTrini Dem Girlsโ€ rapper even repped the Angolan flag on her back after the show.

Clearly, Nicki was unbothered about collecting a check from Angola. Her critics will have to remain mad.
