Just three months into launching her new daytime talk show, FABLife, supermodel and TV host Tyra Banks walked away from the venture, saying that she wanted to fully focus on her cosmetics line, Tyra Beauty.
“It competed for my time in a way that you cannot run a business and do a daytime talk show. And I thought I could. And I can’t,” she said back in November. A source also told PEOPLE said, “It wasn’t exciting for her. She is a serious businesswoman and person, and she just didn’t want to be doing it anymore.”
Now, after Tyra’s departure, the Variety has reported that the talk show has been canceled after just one season. And according to Deadline Hollywood, the lifestyle show had a low household rating of 0.7-0.8.
