Four years after her last single, Alicia Keys is back, and this time, she’s taking her music in a whole new direction with her new, Latin-infused track “In Common.”
Entertainment Weekly has more on Keys has to say of the song:
Produced by Illangelo and written by Keys, Illangelo, Tayla Parks, and Billy Walsh, the track is hazy and club-ready, flecked by lyrics like, “Who wants to love somebody like me?”
“We all have our issues, our challenges,” Keys said in a statement. “We are all kind of messed up and that’s all right. In fact, that’s what helps us understand each other. To me, that is what’s so beautiful.”
So far, with the catchy lyrics and beat, the song will no doubt make an impression on fans and listeners alike.
